I Love the Saltfish breakfast meal. So much so that I drive 26 miles and 40 minutes one way to get it several times per month on the weekends. The Cashiers at the Silver Star and John Young stores always greet me with a smile and are very helpful. Well got to go now. It's Saturday and I'm heading out to get some Sunshine...... Caribbean Sunshine Bakery that is. Thanks for Breakfast.

I ordered a hot meal and the natural sorrel juice, and everything was flavorful and satisfying. The food was hearty, well-seasoned, and felt like a true homemade Caribbean plate. The sorrel juice was refreshing, not overly sweet, and paired perfectly with the meal. Portions were generous, and the experience felt authentic and comforting. I would definitely return to try more dishes.

Absolutely love this place. Nice people buy from there and nice people work there. Food is fantastic, huge drink selection, they sell bread as well, and have a nice dessert selection as well. My favorite is the curry shrimp and curry chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, a mild beef patty, and cream soda.

I ordered the oxtail plate and this was what I got. I've never had boiled dumpling with oxtail at a restaurant but I wasn't mad at it.
